The first article I would like to dedicate to Swss Design Market, that sparked my joy a couple of months ago while I was passing the street during my lunch break. I was always been interested in slow living, sustainable fashion, and supporting local and small designers/creators. I saw the window with a lot of interesting stuff and I couldn’t stop staring. There were so many beautiful and unique products that I could just stand there for hours. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to go inside. firstly, my lunch break was almost over, secondly, as I know myself I would spend there hours and hours. 

However, enough about me. Swiss Design Market is a concept store and online shop that offers young Swiss designers and startups a space and a platform to sell their products. Specifically, it is the largest pop-up store for modern Swiss design. You can find a physical store in:

Lili Pepper

Lili Pepper is a label that stands for traditional craftsmanship from sustainable production with Swiss quality. Behind this brand is a young woman with an infallible instinct for trends and ideas that are in. Franziska Carnevale was born and raised in Switzerland, studied in Berlin and Lucerne and gained her experience as a designer in Switzerland and Italy. She founded the Lili Pepper design studio in 2010 and since then has been working freelance for international clients. All prints and patterns are hand-drawn.

Moya Kala

Moya Kala stands for ethically and gracefully produced lingerie & loungewear by women for women. The products are versatile, of high quality, made of sustainable materials, and in puristic design.

YULIS

Refreshing care envelops the body and prepares it for the day. YULIS offers sustainable soaps, shower gels and shampoos that will meet the needs of skin and hair. They use innovative recipes and purely natural ingredients.
